About Us

My Approach

When my youngest daughter was ordained as a pastor, I made several stoles for her to wear. I incorporated my sewing and weaving talents with my GOD given artistic ability to glorify GOD in her worship settings. My daughter told me how beautiful they were and how many adoring compliments she received. At her suggestion, I knew this would be my "home business" as soon as we were settled into our retirement home.

Meet Me

Hello. Thank you for visiting my website. I am a retired grandmother who would like to keep it that way so that I can remain available to those grandchildren. I love creating artistic pieces and have always enjoyed working with fabrics and colors.

I’ve been sewing since childhood starting on an old treadle machine of my grandmother’s. After sewing classes in high school I studied tailoring in college. Working at a fabric store gave me access to even more knowledge of textiles and techniques.

Being introduced to pin-weaving at that store, I took off
with it and created these vests:

Later I got involved in making paraments for my church. Here are two samples of my construction of paraments designed by artist Alta Mae Jensen.

When I retired I had a lot more time for sewing and joined a quilt guild. After taking a class on free motion quilting, I was able to complete a quilt I had started many years ago. I was very excited to win a first place ribbon and ‘best in class’ ribbon at our local quilt show.

Please take a look at my hand made clerical stoles. All colors and design features are flexible. Contact me and together we can custom design a stole you will love.
